[edit] Upload

Please upload at the wiki rather than non-direct free hosting services such as Megaupload, yousendit, etc

To upload please go to Special:Upload and upload a screenshot in jpg/jpeg, gif, or png form, and the BACKIMG in a zip or rar file. All must be under 250kb, and may be overwritten by a later upload. This means in order to keep your image on the site, call it yourname_skinname (you can change what it is called on the server without renaming your local copy). Files not using this method of naming will be renamed or deleted. Link to the image using the [[Media: tag rather than the [[Image: tag, as this will create a download link. Do not call an image "Screenshot." Call it a name that links it with its BACKIMG

Please feel free to upload skins yourself. Remember to always give the author credit for his/her skin, and please, do not post 'me' as the author, no one knows who 'me' is. ;)

You might have to right-click and "save as", to download, some of the skin links.

[edit] Usage

How To Skinning Your M3 Simply

1. Unzip Skin using Winzip or a similar program .

2. After unziping, you will find a readme and a folder named "_system_". Inside system, there will be four bitmap images, and another folder called "ebook".

3. To use this skin on your M3 Simply first select the four bitmaps found directly inside the "_system_" folder. Copy those directly to the "_system_" folder on your MicroSD card. These four images will form the base skin and it's menus. If you have the latest firmware, it also lets you skin the ebook reader. To use this feature, copy the two bitmaps from the _system_/ebook folder, and copy these to the _system_/ebook folder on your card.

4. Once these images are copied, your M3 Simply will be skinned .

5. Happy skinning!
