Sorry for the downtime

We had a little downtime over the last few days due to a security breach on another website hosted on the same account. It should all be over now, but there may be a few more problems over the next few days. Thanks!

Anyone want to be a sysop?

Well...it seems that all the current sysops have disappeared, so we need some new ones...

Anyone want to do it? You'll need a user account and some contributions under your belt...(the more despams the better!).

Have fun!

New server...again...and more

We have moved to the medialayer hosting that is used by GBATMW. However, bandwidth usage of the wiki was over 13GB/month on the last host. Until I can accurately gauge what the advertising revenue is on the wiki, and hopefully purchase more bandwidth, it will be like this. Whatever happens, if we use more than 10GB of bandwidth the wiki will be disabled.

I'll probably purchase more if it gets close though.

Anyway - have fun!

Downtime

We have had considerable downtime recently. The wiki will probably be moving to another server in the near future, so the downtime will hopefully be less...

Wiki moved server and anon editing re-enabled

IP banning now works, and we are now hosted on a dedicated server provided by GBATemp.

You must now be registered to edit

Due to an influx of spamming, you must now be registered to edit the wiki, as the IP Banning portion of the ban system isn't working.

Thanks for your help!

Main Page and M3 Section Revamp
The main page has been updated to look somewhat like the Wikipedia main page, and should look much nicer now. Also the M3 Section has been categorized, so it shouldn't be so cluttered anymore. (Codemaster), 3 July 2006

New host and domain
The M3 Wiki has been moved to a new server. Thanks to Sakumi's hosting! There is also a new domain name: "http://m3wiki.com". Locating the M3 Wiki should now be easier for most, and loading should be faster. (Codemaster), 2 July 2006

GBA-TMW has been deleted
GBA The Movie Way has been deleted because of a Terms of Service violation. Please go to http://gbatmw.net for the replacement forum. (Leoedin) + (Codemaster), 20 June 2006

Announcement: M3 Wiki uploading policy
The wiki's uploading policy is, and has always been to use the [[Media: tags to link to files. This allows a quick way of telling whether the file still exists (or has been deleted/never uploaded properly) and also means the wiki address can change. Because many people have linked to the actual file, I am now having to go through the entire backimg section changing all the links (I've already done the software section). Please refrain from direct links. Any more direct links will be removed (completely removed) and the contributor warned. (Leoedin), 29 March 2006

Found a host - Now hosted at emuparadise.org
We have a host. http://m3wiki.emuparadise.org should be our new address for a while. If anything goes wrong, head over to http://m3wiki.rampen.ca or the IRC channel to see what's happening. (Leoedin), 23 March 2006

New Host needed
Hi, Basically the traffic to this site is getting too much for my current host, so I am needing a new host. Any recommendations? Whatever happens, I will probably have to put Google (or other text-based) adverts on the site to fund a host. Also, if I get a new host then I can either register a new domain (e.g. http://m3wiki.com or something) or just give it a subdomain of my current domain (http://m3wiki.rampen.ca). Basically, I need to get some feedback on this. Tell me what you think in the discussion section. (Leoedin), 27 February 2006

Compatibility Page Redesigned
Because the list was getting so big (50KB of text!), I have moved it so that the list is split up. Please edit it in the new way. If you add a rom, add it to the ROM list. (Leoedin), 19 February 2006

New NDS Rom Compatibility page
There is a new compatibility page in the NDS ROMs slot. If you wish to view the old version, it's available at NDS Roms Old. (Leoedin), 2 January 2006

Copyright notice and disclaimers under moderation
If anyone has any idea on a potential copyright notice or disclaimer, or disagrees with the current ones, please mention it in the discussion page of this article. The copyright notice is trying to be as fair as possible without giving away rights for anyone to use it without mention of us :D, but if you disagree with it, please let me know. The same goes for the disclaimer - these were both written off the top of my head and as such they aren't very good. (Leoedin), 31 December 2005

New page added - Site FAQ
Please ask questions in the Community Portal, but check the Site FAQ before asking. (Leoedin), 26 December 2005

All ROMs currently released run on the M3
Currently all ROMs released will run on the M3, and most will save and run properly. Well done M3 team and thank you contributors. Keep up the good work. (Leoedin), 21 December 2005

First 50 Roms 100% compatible
We have reached a major hurdle (well...the M3 team have :D) The first 50 roms are now all compatible with the M3 CF or M3 SD (Although so far no-one has found any roms working on one but not the other). (Leoedin), 20 December 2005
